The Prairie Librarian blog has a listing of Aboriginal Film Festivals. Most of them are far away, but the Cowichan International Aboriginal Film Festival in Duncan, BC, April 16-19, is certainly nearby and in a place we know well since last year's Canoe Journey. The Cowichan Festival includes events for Student and Youth Films. But you'd need to act fast to get your application in. The submission deadline is February 15th.
